Cookie Policy

This policy explains how we use cookies and similar technologies on LoggerMan.

Last updated: 2026-06-03

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. Similar technologies include local storage and session storage. We use them where needed to operate the Service and, if you enable them later, for analytics or preferences.

2. Cookies we use today

Strictly necessary

These are required for sign-in, security, and dashboard functionality. They cannot be switched off without breaking the Service.

  • Authentication (Clerk) — session and security cookies to keep you signed in and protect your account.
  • Service operation — cookies or storage tied to loading the application and maintaining your session while you use the dashboard.

Analytics and marketing

We do not currently deploy third-party advertising or analytics cookies (e.g. Google Analytics, Meta Pixel) on LoggerMan. If we add them, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for consent before non-essential cookies are set.

3. Legal basis (EEA/UK)

Strictly necessary cookies are used based on legitimate interests and/or performance of our contract with you. Non-essential cookies require consent under the ePrivacy Directive and GDPR when applicable.

4. Managing cookies

You can:

  • Clear or block cookies in your browser settings.
  • Use browser “Do Not Track” or Global Privacy Control signals — we honor applicable opt-out requirements when non-essential tracking is in use.
  • Sign out of LoggerMan to end session cookies tied to authentication.

Blocking necessary cookies may prevent you from using the dashboard.

5. Cookie banner

When we enable optional cookies, we will show a consent banner that records your choice and lets you change preferences at any time. Until then, only necessary cookies are used.
